User Reviews

Users largely praise the app's tracking capabilities and ease of logging, especially weight tracking and Apple Health sync. However, they report persistent reliability and performance problems, heavy data-entry requirements, a limited food database, missing features relative to the site, and frequent login/data-loss issues. Overall, the app provides value for tracking but needs major usability and feature improvements to be dependable.
Pros
  • Solid tracking features for food, water, and weight with clear charts.
  • Easy food and water logging with Apple Health synchronization for automatic activity tracking.
  • Helpful customer service experience noted by a reviewer.
Cons
  • Very slow performance and frequent crashes, including update-related issues.
  • Data entry is time-consuming and the interface is clunky/non-intuitive.
  • Missing essential features and limited parity with the site (grocery lists, printable recipes, editing/creating foods and recipes, copying meals).
  • Limited food database and insufficient portion customization.
  • Reliability issues with login/logout and occasional data loss.

I find that while it works to a point there are two many spots where you have to check off and enter items, I feel like once you enter food for the day or watch the videos it should automatically check those items off, also where you input the food you’ve eaten that’s where you should be able to select that your taken the product(aka blueprint) and that way it also incorporates that info in your calories and carb intake, otherwise are we suppose to enter that manually? The food finder does really well and I like that it tracks your weight but I would like a place to also track symptoms or how the body is feeling on the daily. Like level of tiredness, or bowel symptoms etc. since this is a gut program not having that seems odd

I started using the BodySite app as part of GLP-1 program and it's great! There were a couple of things I wanted from the app that I didn't see, (showing my daily fiber count in the food log and editing the foods/recipes I enter) but their customer service has been wonderful (shout out to Katrina!) and they showed me how to do just about everything I want. No sharing with friends yet, but maybe soon? I log my food and water intake and I synced it with my apple health so my activity is logged automatically, so easy! Honestly logging everything is really key to overall awareness and making meaningful change and I am here for it!
