Features & Capabilities

Ice Report helps anglers share lake ice conditions by instantly posting ice thickness at their current GPS location. It enables a crowd-sourced view of ice across Northern climates, helping the community plan safer outings and connect with others who report conditions.

New reports are shown darker; reports older than 3 days appear lighter. By default, the map shows the last 7 days of activity. Premium Supporters unlock extra features, and Premium users can place icons without GPS. The Display Name you choose will be visible to other anglers, and you can filter reports with the calendar to view date ranges. The app uses Google Maps for iOS, and while reports are submitted by users, accuracy isn't guaranteed; always follow local safety guidance.
