User Reviews

CQG’s iOS app is praised for its clean, attractive interface and solid mobile usability that appeals to experienced traders. However, recurring issues include latency in loading positions and executing trades, inconsistent or slow customer support, and scalping-focused workflow friction (extra confirmations, non-drag stops). Some users also note mixed tablet compatibility. Overall, the app can work well for long-term/mobile trading, but traders in fast markets should test performance and be wary of support responsiveness.
Pros
  • Clean, beautiful, and easy-to-use mobile interface.
  • Strong fit for experienced traders and professional use.
  • Good on-the-go mobile usability and reliability for emergencies.
Cons
  • Latency and slow loading of positions/orders leading to execution slippage.
  • Poor customer support with slow or unresponsive replies.
  • Scalping-related workflow friction such as extra confirmations and inability to drag stops on the chart.

Continuous latency issues and execution trade execution is off by a few hundred dollars on a one lot so be very careful. They are hurting and skimming off the top…

Great app for a very experienced trader! Needs some internal work in my opinion. Putting the app in horizontal mode, you can’t lay the phone flat. It has to be “perfectly” up right to use horizontal mode. Buy and sell limit orders should have a setting to customize the order colors. Other than that, this is a great app. I use this more that TradingView.( Yes, I see the same charts as tradingview)
