Flight of the Amazon Queen is a beloved graphic adventure that harks back to LucasArts-era classics. Set in 1949, you play as Joe King, hired to fly actress Faye Russell into the Amazon, only to be stranded and drawn into a quest to rescue a kidnapped princess. The 20th Anniversary Edition elevates the experience with touch-screen optimized controls, hotspot-based navigation, a refreshed interface, and high-end graphics scaling. It adds new menus and a save/load system, music options, optional retro settings, and a range of extras, plus multi-language support. This edition uses ScummVM GPL v2 and is developed by MojoTouch, licensing content from Red Sprite Studios.

I’ve played it over a 100 times and is the best game and I recommend to buy it before playing Broken sword or Syberia.

I really wanted to love this game. I was looking for something like Thimbleweed Park. It was really hard to figure out the next step in the game. I really had a hard time and needed a walkthrough for most of it. The amount of time spent watching the characters walk and talk is annoying. I know in this type of game it is to be expected but it was excessive. Also there is no map so if you go the wrong way you have to do all that walking over again. I haven’t finished the game and I’m not sure that I will. I do give it extra points for long gameplay. Normally that would be great but I have gotten bored with it. If you’re looking for something like thimbleweed park. This is not it in my opinion.

The tree sap disappeared from my inventory so that I couldn't use it (or get it back) when it was needed 2/3 through the game. Very disappointed. Also was impatient with the endless walking. But, one extra point for nostalgia.
