Trenches of War

Trenches of War is a WWI-inspired strategy game presented as a Chrome extension. Lead troops through 125 missions, wield 9 soldier classes, and wage fast-paced trench warfare across dramatic fronts. Spawn units, seize trenches, barracks, and factories, and navigate rivers, bridges, and cornfields that shape each advance.

Success hinges on recruitment timing and terrain-aware tactics. Money trickles in over time and from combat, crates, and captures. A power meter fills as you defeat enemies, triggering brief power-ups like speed boosts or immunity. Capture additional facilities to spawn closer to the front, upgrade trenches with barbed wire, and unlock elite units—snipers, tanks, and artillery—by advancing in battle. Rivers slow movement on rainy days, cornfields provide cover, and strategic timing is essential to claim victory.
