User Reviews

Overall sentiment is mixed. Some players praise the game's place in the Three Kingdoms genre and its potential, but recurring concerns include pay-to-win monetization with biased RNG, high costs, login/access problems (especially in China), and bugs. The top negatives are monetization, accessibility, and lack of polish, while a few reviewers see solid core gameplay and a path to greatness with future updates.
Pros
  • Regarded by reviewers as among the best Three Kingdoms games available.
  • Generally playable with few bugs and shows potential to be great.
  • Overall experience is pretty good for some players and offers solid core gameplay.
Cons
  • Pay-to-win monetization with biased draw rates; non-spenders have little progress and paying doesn't guarantee value.
  • Login/access issues and regional restrictions, notably difficulties for players in China.
  • Bugs and lack of polish reported by several players.
  • Customer service quality is poor and pricing is perceived as expensive.

When Mistplay says you have 45 days to complete the tutorial it’s because that’s how long it takes (exaggeration but still long boring tutorial) despite choosing English there are still quite a few things that are in another language that I can’t read. The tutorial doesn’t really teach you how to play the game just a lot of “click here” prompts with little to no explanation and no ability to explore the aspects of what you’re doing until the tutorial is over then it just feels overwhelming. I’m not big into city building games like this so I’m not the target demographic but I can usually play through them for a while before losing interest. I can’t even gain interest in this one. I’m sure there’s a market for it, but personally this is amongst the worst games in this genre I’ve ever played. (Admittedly I didn’t get far before abandoning it. There could be some awesome aspects that I missed but I just can’t…)

There is a great English community, and I am able to do well in seasons, even as a f2p player
