Features & Capabilities

WhatsChat is a lightweight iPad app (~2MB) that brings WhatsApp to your iPad by loading WhatsApp Web and logging in with a QR code. It keeps your phone as the primary connection and mirrors your existing WhatsApp conversations on the larger screen.

Notes: The app is free with banner ads and an option to remove ads. It is not an official WhatsApp product, and it emphasizes privacy by not storing messages on its servers.

User Reviews

Reviews show a split: users praise ease of use, clean design, multi-functionality, and iPad texting capability, but reliability and pricing concerns persist. Several reports say the app won’t open or freezes on startup, while others allege hidden charges or scams after signing up. Overall, strong UX on iPad contrasts with reliability and pricing issues.
