I’m happy the devs listened so that we don’t have to “unlock” every single app, (just Instagram, YouTube, safari, etc.) but they need to make it much more customizable on what gets reported!! The fact that I’m getting notifications sent to my accountability partner saying that I had a “highly concerning incident” or “is everything ok with Don?” is beyond frustrating that the app doesn’t even give a chance to swipe past reels or photos of people in workout clothes or bathing suits, (again, we’re talking about a lady wearing a workout bra and yoga pants…not even close to nude images🤦‍♂️I would hardly call that “blacklisted content” or “highly concerning”) but instead the devs decided to use a “universal bandaid” as can be seen by this developer’s brilliant response to my complaint: “We acknowledge that what may seem harmless to some individuals can be triggering or distressing for others.” Ok???? So how about we make what is harmless to some classified as…harmless🤷‍♂️😂… seems pretty simple. Make the app more customizable, we all are paying money for this and as someone who is using this as a preventative measure, it needs to fit my needs better. The features make sense for porn addicts, but not for people who are using it to prevent porn and be transparent with loved ones.
