User Reviews

Omnify Benefits is praised for its user-friendly, intuitive interface and features that feel accessible and often faster than the website; several reviewers mention responsive customer service and overall solid performance when the app is functioning. However, recurring pain points include frequent crashes (notably when photographing receipts or submitting claims), difficulties with reimbursements and strict approval rules, login/authentication problems (password resets and post-update crashes), and downtime or errors affecting reliability. Some users also request biometric login and a simpler workflow, especially for multi-page receipts and multiple expenses.
Pros
  • User-friendly and intuitive interface.
  • Features are accessible and not overcrowded; often faster/better than using the website.
  • Generally reliable and performs well when the app is functioning.
  • Responsive customer service.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability, especially when uploading receipts or using the camera and after updates.
  • Cumbersome reimbursement process with strict approvals, delays, and input limits (e.g., single-expense entry).
  • Login/authentication problems, including password reset failures and post-update crashes.
  • Downtime or errors affecting reliability.
  • UI/UX can be overly complex and slow to transfer funds; navigation worsened compared to earlier versions.

App crashes every time I use the camera to take a picture of my documentation. It also only allows me to add one expense reimbursement at a time. I would like to enter a date range, not just a specific date.

Half the time the picture that I take of the bill or the statement ends up, not going through and being left as pending or I end up having to pay money back because something was missing from the statement. Total headache. Every teacher around me in the state that I’ve talked to that have went to this does not like it at all.

You’re probably locked into using this company by your employer. My condolences. The site and/or app are frequently down or having errors. Among various issues I have run into over the last few years, my current one is that my password magically stopped working. “Well, use the Forgot Your Password”, you say? Guess what? The email with the code never arrives, so that doesn’t work. Contact them? The app freezes when you try to send a message.
