The Foody Cyprus app is easy to use with broad restaurant options and is convenient for regular office meals. However, recurring issues with payments and order verification (phone number requirements and international SMS problems) hinder ordering and reduce reliability, despite its convenient multi-restaurant approach.

Pros

Easy to use interface and intuitive navigation.
Wide selection of restaurants in one app (multi-restaurant aggregator).
Useful for daily/office meals and frequent use.

Cons

Payment issues: in-app payments fail to process or cards (including BOC) don't work, blocking orders.
Phone number and verification hurdles: requirement to provide a phone number and international SMS delivery problems, causing orders to fail or be delayed.

Recent reviews

Foody doesn’t have the option to actually write detailed rating. It only has stars to choose. I think it would be very useful for people to know what they are ordering and for the shops to have an actual input. Whenever i left a note for an order it was left unseen as well, and the lucky pinata (discount) has the same shops over and over again. Furthermore there is no phone number of the shops either to even call for the message you want to give them.

Can’t finish my order just because your sms service didn’t deliver sms to international carriers… and you made this tel confirmation required… as a result, you are loosing the clients and money =( 🤦🏼‍♂️ bye-bye!
