Users largely praise 17hats mobile for offering desktop-like functionality and strong on-the-go usability, with notifications and a single app to manage their business. However, recurring issues include persistent login prompts, crashes or blank screens, and calendar/UX gaps that diminish the mobile experience compared to the website. Recent updates have improved parity, but stability and feature completeness remain the key concerns.

Pros

Full feature parity with the desktop version on mobile (mobile app now includes most of the website's functionality).
Excellent on-the-go usability for client and event management on mobile.
App can run your entire business from the palm of your hand (single platform for management).
Recent rebuilding/updates improve functionality and bring features to mobile.
Push notifications for leads and payments help stay on top of activity.

Cons

Requires logging in every time you open the app, disrupting workflow.
Stability issues: crashes, freezes, or blank screens reported during use.
Not as feature-rich as the website; some tasks require using the external booking page or desktop browser.
Calendar UI is hard to read and monthly view has been removed in updates, making planning difficult.
General reliability concerns; inconsistent behavior across launches and devices.

Recent reviews

This is a miss on 17hats part. So we take calls from clients and should be able to book appointments for them over the phone, and if they’re already a contact or have a previous project with us, we should be able to go to their project page or contact page, click booking, select the service and have their information like name, email, phone number etc; automatically populate into the booking system, but NO, all of this is impossible to do with 17hats. There is no way to book clients without going to the external booking page, and having to ask them for their information all over again, which looks unprofessional especially if they have a record with us, there is no way to override booking the time internally. The scheduling part of this system is sloppy. I will update my review if this changes.

So frustrating. I cant get anything done because the app keeps freezing especially when Im attempting to create a quote. Is it too much to ask???

For the most part the app works great for on the go client and event management. However, I’ve noticed that it ended up glitching quite a bit. For example, when I go to open the app, it opens and then immediately and I have to open it again. Also frequently and I am ready to send an email. It locks me out and I can’t hit send or save or clothes or anything. I have to completely shut down the app and reopen the client and resend the email. Sometimes it takes 2 to 4 attempts to actually get it to send
