Review summary

Green the Planet 2 is widely praised for its calming, visually appealing vibe and simple, pace-yourself progression. Players enjoy the art, music, and the option to watch ads for rewards or pay to remove ads. Common drawbacks include repetition once early planets are completed, grindy waits and limited gameplay depth, as well as frustrations with ads and a lengthy onboarding. Overall, it’s a relaxing, attractive title with room for more content and smoother pacing.
Pros
  • Relaxing, calming atmosphere with soothing music and visuals.
  • Beautiful art/design and a charming retro space aesthetic.
  • Play at your own pace with low-stress progression.
  • Ad-supported option with rewards and an option to remove ads for a smoother experience.
  • Satisfying core loop of purifying planets and destroying comets with satisfying sounds.
Cons
  • Repetitive gameplay and limited endgame content after completing the early planets.
  • Grindy progression with long waits for upgrades and new content.
  • Limited depth compared to other idle/management games; not much to do beyond the core loop.
  • Ads-related frustrations, including occasional issues exiting ads to claim rewards.
  • Onboarding/tutorial can feel overly long or hand-holding at the start.

2026-02-08 Jo***** This is the dumbest game I've ever seen. The entire gameplay is just holding your finger down on the screen for a week, that's all. Just holding your finger down for a week. The developer must have escaped from the psychiatric hospital.

2025-04-16 ji***** Chill little game with nice music. I come back to this game once in a while to slow down. I often imagine I’m one of those 3 “chickens” wandering in space and greening up planets.

2025-03-12 Wi***** I remember when the first game came out years ago and it was such a relaxing little game. I’m excited to play the second one and while some people have said it’s bland, if you’re looking for a simple, repetitive game this is it. I’m a recent adult diagnosis of autism and this game really has been useful during those stressed out times. I have used it when noise and stress gets to be too much and it’s been helpful.

2025-01-24 fl***** I thought this was a more in depth idle game, maybe like cookie clicker or clicker hero’s. Its got some super cool art and design, as-well as neat weapons to use/craft. You can’t craft ALL of the items together as you might assume, which is disappointing. You buy these Auto Collectors (which the use of is poorly explained) to help you progress, but their income is almost completely negligible even if you have 10+ of them. There’s a neat upgrade for auto-fire and auto-targeting, but the moment you enter the ship again it no longer functions until you come back out, or it just destroys the projectiles you already had on the field. Finally, once you’ve made it past a few planets theres no longer anything to do other than wait a really long time for another damage upgrade, then idk go to the next planet? Spent $5 on this thinking id be playing for more than a week.
