Mezquite Diatonic Accordion is a FREE educational and fun app to learn the diatonic button accordion. It uses genuine, professionally recorded accordion sounds, a super-responsive interface, and light-up notes to guide you as you play, teaching which finger to use for each note and how to play scales and songs.

Explore four sounds (Deluxe, Norteño, Texano, Vallenato), six tunings (GCF, EAD, FBbEb, ADG, BbEbAb, F#BE), and five register sounds across 34 buttons. Auto mode lets you tap anywhere to play a song, you can advance or rewind, customize note displays, and even play along in the background. Settings are saved, new songs are added regularly, and the app is free—perfect for practice anywhere.
