Recent reviews

This is a little jewel in a sea of weather apps. I used to get confused (or not get it at all) with the UV index in weather apps. What do those numbers actually mean for my skin type. Is a 7 good, bad, too high? Fortunately I discovered this app and after all these years it is still my to go app every time I go out into the sun. The app is very intuitive and well organized but above all very simple and straight to the point. It lets you know when you will be more exposed to UV light during the day and when it is safe to go out considering your skin type. You can add the kind of sunscreen you use (SPF 30,50, water resistant etc) so it can remind you when it's time to reapply it given the UV conditions. If your skin is very sensitive to sunlight, tends to burn easily or you just want to take care of your skin this is the app for you. Did I mention you can create your own little avatar to personalize your experience in the app? UV lens is a must have. It's more than just a weather app it's an app for your health and that of your skin.

Widget not longer works/an option…why?

I rely so heavily on this app and it has never let me down. There are features that could make it better, and it’s occasionally clunky, but I’ve never been burned since I started using this app a few years ago. This app is often at odds with the Apple Weather app, and, based on personal experience, I’m inclined to believe this app is more insightful.
