User Reviews

Overall, teachers praise Teacher Aide Pro for saving time and handling multiple classroom tasks in one place, with a robust feature set and solid support. The main recurring drawback is instability with Google Classroom sync. Pricing is mixed among users, but many feel the time saved and the breadth of features justify the subscription.
Pros
  • Huge time saver: attendance, grading, and communications are fast and streamlined.
  • Comprehensive feature set: attendance, seating charts, rubrics, grading, and parent emails in one app.
  • Excellent support and fast, helpful developer responses.
  • User-friendly and fast to use: drag-and-drop seating charts and intuitive interfaces.
  • Strong reporting and communication options: printable PDFs and easy emailing to parents, with easy export/import to other tools.
Cons
  • Occasional stability issues with Google Classroom integration, including crashes when syncing/importing/exporting grades.

I loved this app and have used it for four years. Opened it to take attendance in my first class today to be told that I was not able to unless I subscribed. Very disappointing and now I have to search for a new app because $6.99 a month as a teacher for an attendance app is completely unreasonable.

I haven’t bought it yet. I ran into problems with my favorite program: teacher kit and I’m looking for something that can do the same. My biggest hurdle is I serve 24 classes in elementary schools and that might grow in the coming years. This means I would needs to pay for two of your programs. Might is already tight, but still this type of program helps me a lot.
