I have had utilised nestaway as a tenant for almost 2 years. One thing ghat i can say for sure that i would recommend it to an enemy who would lose his peace of life while moving in and moving out. We booked a home for 25k rent + maintenance for which they later increased the rent. Weirds things while moving in: 1. Tenant has to pay for documentation and rental agreement 2. Irrespective of what date you give(even of you give their suggested date), the house is never ready on time. We hd the painting being done till 3 days after moving in. The repairs/maintenance went on for a month after moving in. 3. They will cheat you for any money they can get. For instance: as per the rule, you get a freshly painted house. But by their definition, balcony is outside the house, so its not included. You can get it done by paying more. The list is long. Similar experience while moving out of a very well kept and maintained flat: 1. If you house rent is 28k and the new quotes rent (for the person who would move in after you) is 40k, they will deduct 40k from security as painting charges. 2. They will come back with an outstanding from 2 years back (which you were asked to pay in cash directly to the society maintenance committee) stating that thats pending. Were you guys sleeping for 2 years if you think it was pending. Irrespective of if the maintenance committee confirming no dues from your end, they will torture you with calls and mails until you cave in. 3. If you are lucky enough to dig out 2 year old receipts, and ask them to return the amount, they will go deaf and dumb. It would be a herculean task to get them to respond. Several other charges as such and no escalation matrix in place. We once had a call where i mentioned that i might have to file a case in consumer forum if this goes on the same way with no resolution, the support lady just chuckled. Thats the level of customer support you can expect. Simply horrendous.
