User Reviews

Users largely agree the app offers a useful physical backup option and file access from external drives, with some praise for cross-device use and playable transferred media. However, widespread issues dominate: frequent crashes, poor compatibility with iPhone X and newer iOS versions, unreliable hardware recognition, a dangerous tendency to format memory cards without warning, and a clunky transfer experience (no rename or select-all, partial copy failures). Overall sentiment is negative due to stability and compatibility concerns, despite potential value for archiving and viewing files.
Pros
  • Provides a physical backup/transfer option with external USB/card reader
  • Lets you view and access files on the connected storage from iPhone/iPad
  • Works across multiple devices (e.g., iPhone 8, iPhone 11, iPad) according to some users
  • Some users consider it one of the better apps in this category
  • Transferred videos/audios can remain accessible and playable in the app for some users
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and instability, especially when moving photos or copying files
  • Incompatibility with iPhone X and some iOS versions; hardware support often lacking
  • External drives/card readers are not reliably recognized or supported by the app
  • Serious data-loss risk: formatting memory cards without warning
  • Poor UX: cannot rename files, no select-all option, tedious transfers, and partial copy failures

Nice to have a physical backup option for my photos!.. I don’t know why Apple doesn’t have this option in its OS.

After I did my back up it did not save the photos correctly. It’s just line codes that I don’t know how to recover them. When I try to use the app it does not recognize the files. Any else had this happen and can help with this?
