Users value longitudinal mole tracking, labeling, and research contributions but report stability and migration problems, limited photo import, and usability issues.

Pros

Longitudinal tracking of moles with labeled mapping and body zones.
Ability to visualize changes over time via slideshows and track size changes with a coin reference.
Free to use and contributes data to melanoma research.
Useful for monitoring between dermatologist visits and for people at risk.
Supports mapping many moles with individual labels to build a record.

Cons

Crashes and instability (frequent crashes, especially after updates; some data loss).
No user accounts or device-to-device data transfer, making migration difficult.
Photo handling limitations: cannot upload existing photos; limited body-side views; no automatic mapping; heavy manual mapping.
Non-intuitive UI and recurring setup/sign-up bugs (including device-specific issues).

Please add a way to upload a photo from the camera roll. I use the camera magnifier, which takes the clearest photos (rather than the camera), but there is no way to add the photo.

Doesn’t seem to be a way to transfer my old data to a new phone. No “account” to log into. Defeats the purpose of longitudinal monitoring

What should be an indispensable app to monitoring those at risk for melanoma (2-time survivor) is too difficult to use. After trying it out for two years, I give up.
