VikingFood is praised for its broad local restaurant selection and generally fast, friendly delivery, with reviewers noting the app is easy to use when it works. However, reliability and support gaps are repeatedly cited: the app crashes or fails to load; there is no integrated way to contact support to fix issues; some areas are blocked from delivery; and order problems (wrong items, delays) often require calling the restaurant instead of handling it in-app. These issues undermine otherwise strong selection and service.

I would love to use this service but it’s sad that 99% of the time it says to choose a time and date but it WILL NOT LET ME because they aren’t delivering to my address. One of the restaurants is literally less than 5 miles from my house but they won’t come out here? Food is usually soggy anyway. Guess I’ll just use Uber or DoorDash instead.

Fix your broken app. Can’t even place an order, change address or anything without it crashing

By far the best selection of restaurants. I’ve used the app dozens of times and have had a good experience overall. However, as previous reviews state from 8 years ago, there is still no way to contact Viking if anything is wrong with your order. I’ve unfortunately had this happen a few times. I’ve also had issues using Viking gift cards on the app due to the way the payments are set up in the app. Splitting costs between more than one card seems impossible or at least difficult to do. I will continue to use the app because they simply have the best options and in general, minimal issues.
