Features & Capabilities

DroneVR lets you sit in the cockpit of your drone and fly as if you were a bird. It links your phone to the drone to render the live stream in stereo with lens distortion correction for VR headsets. The free version supports Ryze Tello; additional DJI drones are unlocked via in-app purchase.

It includes a configurable UI with dark/light modes, two HUDs for real-time telemetry, a head-up menu to control flight and camera settings, a mini-map, head tracking to adjust camera orientation, flight logs synced with iCloud or file sharing, spectator mode to fly with friends, and stereo or mono rendering. Video quality ranges from 720p/30fps on older drones up to 1080p on newer models, with compatibility across a wide range of VR headsets.
