Users consistently praise the app for being easy to use, fast Zelle transfers, an improved design, strong customer service, and time/money savings. However, recurring issues include deposit failures or delays, usability and readability problems after updates (including reduced iPad usability and lack of search), frequent login/access errors, and missing features (points visibility/redeeming, sign-out, bill pay, and quick access to statements).

Deposits (mobile/check) frequently fail or are delayed
Post-update navigation and readability issues (hard to navigate, worse readability, iPad split-screen removal, no search)
Login/access errors and persistent error messages
Missing/removed features (points visibility/redeeming, sign-out option, bill pay, and quick access to statements)

Recent reviews

Prospective customers should be aware that SDFCU will charge a monthly fee for “non-use.” “Secure messages” are also sent through an external (Zix) email system, so the “features” of this app are entirely useless. For a bank that supposedly serves the State Department community – which is based mostly overseas – this app and this bank are trash.
