User Reviews

Overall, users find QCPR valuable as a CPR training aid that provides real-time feedback and classroom visibility when it works. However, repeated updates have caused widespread instability: frequent crashes/ freezes, sessions dropping mid-practice, and logouts. Connection to manikins is unreliable and device compatibility is inconsistent, particularly with older iOS devices and certain mannequin models. UI issues: no landscape support and cluttered visuals make viewing on big screens hard. Feature gaps (Timeline mode access, SkillReporter) and changes to scoring add-ons frustrate users. A stable, cross-device experience with better scaling and landscape support would improve satisfaction.
Pros
  • Real-time CPR feedback and performance metrics when connected.
  • Useful training aid for CPR classes; allows progress to be shown on a TV or large screen.
  • Works on newer iPhone/iPad devices.
Cons
  • Frequent crashes and freezes after updates, including sessions dropping mid-practice or the app not opening.
  • Unstable Bluetooth/connection to manikins and inconsistent compatibility across models.
  • Incompatibility with older iOS devices and older iPads; crashes or failure to run on older hardware.
  • UI/UX issues like no landscape support and cluttered visuals, making large-screen viewing difficult.
  • Feature gaps and changes (Timeline mode access, SkillReporter discontinuation, scoring changes) that disappoint users.

The app is good for what it is. If it worked it would be fine, however trying to connect to any models then launching it causes it to crash instantly. No options for non mobile either

The more and more updates I get, the more I begin to hate these. With the new update it forces close in the middle of a practice session which is embarrassing for this price point. Would be great if you can name the manikins. Sometimes when I have 12 manikins on and everything is named “little”, it’s hard to find what I want. With Red Cross curriculum you a lot of practices require 3 rounds of cpr where the manikins can do either 1 min or 2 mins. With the infant manikins, the babies cry when they feel like it with the auto “cry” off. They also work when you press the button but the cry b4 the button is pressed Infant manikin feel and body movements are not a natural feel compared to the Prestans We need to make these manikins link faster. It’s a hassle with large groups
