User Reviews

Overall, reviewers praise LEGO Ninjago for its nostalgic appeal to fans and enjoyable, story-driven play with a rich set of levels and collectible characters, at a reasonable price. However, recurring concerns include a lack of updates and new content after launch, several bugs and crashes that hamper play, limited replayability once the campaign is completed, and control/UI issues. Players also want more modes, such as free play and multiplayer. The game remains a beloved pick for fans, but its longevity depends on ongoing support and enhancements.
Pros
  • Nostalgia and strong appeal to Ninjago fans
  • Fun, story-driven gameplay with goofy moments
  • Rich content: many levels and collectible characters to complete
  • Good value for money at around $4.99–$5
  • Solid visuals and authentic LEGO/Ninjago feel
Cons
  • Lack of updates and new content after launch; requests for more seasons/levels and a free-play option
  • Bugs and crashes disrupt gameplay (chapter 2 bug, broken lock-on, crashes in free play)
  • Limited replayability: can't replay earlier levels to recollect missing characters
  • Control/UX issues (D-pad placement and general control difficulties)
  • Missing multiplayer modes (versus) and overall need for more modes beyond the campaign
