User reviews consistently describe the SalonCentric app as unreliable and slow, with frequent glitches that prevent basic actions like locating a store, adding items to cart, or completing checkout. Many report search failures returning zero results or are redirected to articles, and searches that hang or time out. Location/pref save issues mean users can't set their store, and carts often get emptied or orders canceled. Inventory appears out-of-date, with items showing as out of stock late in checkout. Login and password problems compound these frustrations, making the app largely unusable for routine ordering.

Recent reviews

You click on the “shop” tab and it will glitch out. You search up products and it says there’s zero results, even if looking up something simple like a brand name. I read a response to a review saying to log out and log back in. Did it. It has locked me out and glitches when I try to log in. This is by far probably the worst app experience I have ever encountered.

I really like the app overall and haven't had any issues with how it works. My only complaint is the store locator. None of the SalonCentric locations near me are available as options, even though I live close to two different stores. Because of that, the closest location I can select is over two hours away, which means I often have to pay $20–$30 in shipping when I should be able to pick up my order locally. It would be great if all store locations were added to the app so customers can use the stores closest to them. Other than that, I have no complaints and really enjoy using the app.
