My Pancreas

My Pancreas is an educational Chrome extension developed by the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Unit. It guides pancreatic cancer patients and their families through the journey from referral to treatment, helping manage symptoms and locate reliable information. The app is organized into five sections: My Pancreas (pancreas overview and common issues), My Tests (diagnostic procedures), My Treatment (chemotherapy, surgery), Help & Information (up-to-date patient care services, contact details, and links to Pancreatic Cancer UK), and My Notes (a place to record important questions for future appointments or use prewritten questions). The aim is to empower users with trusted information and practical tools.

It is designed for patients, their families, carers and friends seeking accessible education about pancreatic cancer. While it provides information and guidance, it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. The extension connects users with official resources and support networks to help them navigate the diagnostic and treatment journey with confidence.
