Doctors who register and verify their profile on Medindia get a free Doctor’s Home Page and can also opt-in for Online Appointments – in addition to a host of other benefits including featured listings, blogs, online consultation and more. Doctors can setup their entire schedule online and availability for multiple office locations. This allows patients to request and book appointments online – directly from the Doctor’s Home Page or from the Find-a-Doctor App (also available on the app store).

Doctors can then download this app and manage all aspects of their appointments, The app displays the patient’s name, details and reason for the appointment request. All appointment requests stay in a pending status until they are confirmed by the doctor or his office – giving doctors full control over their schedules. Doctors can confirm, cancel or reschedule any appointment request due to changes in their schedules or availability.
All communication is sent via both SMS and Email to patients and doctors – making the entire process very efficient and easy to manage.
