User Reviews
Pros
- Ticket/case is often dismissed, frequently with no points and no fines.
- Fines are sometimes reduced or converted to non-moving violations.
- You're matched with a real, highly rated attorney and the attorney handles the work.
- The process is quick and easy—sign up, upload the ticket, and let the attorney handle it.
- The attorney goes to court on your behalf, reducing personal hassle.
Cons
- High cost with savings not always realized; many say the service isn’t worth the price.
- No refunds or partial refunds when results aren’t favorable.
- Some cases involve attorneys not appearing, misfiling, or the case being canceled.
- Reports of scams, ghosting, or poor accountability and inconsistent results.
- Mixed results—some tickets are dismissed or reduced, but others yield little or nothing.

Do not trust the marketing or the "Money Back Guarantee." I paid a premium $385 fee through this app, and the attorney they matched me with didn’t even know what city my court date was in. I literally spent the morning of my hearing experiencing severe anxiety, frantically texting him photos of the courtroom signs so he could find his way. He arrived over 25 minutes late, completely unprepared.
When I complained, the App’s Customer Relationship Manager (Cachel) completely twisted my words to shut down the dispute, eluding that I didn't want the attorney paid for his services. I never said the attorney shouldn’t be compensated. My issue is with OTR charging me a premium platform fee for a total breakdown of service.
Worse, management claimed they found no communication issues because they "only monitor internal app chat." The app literally gives you the lawyer's cell phone number to text them, but if the lawyer fails you, OTR ignores your screenshot proof because it's outside their app.
They will happily pocket your money, pair you with unvetted, negligent lawyers, and then hide behind a dismissed outcome to deny any accountability for the mental and financial stress they cause. This app is a total failure. Please save yourself the panic attack and hire a local lawyer directly.

This is a fantastic service, would recommend to anyone. Got my ticket completely dismissed. Would use again if I ever have to. 5 stars!

Through Off The Record I was assigned an attorney, called prior to my court date, given updates throughout the process and was able to get my speeding ticket dismissed with zero court costs, fines or safety course. Amazing app/product. You're dealing with a local attorney and they know your local system. Highly recommend.
