User Reviews

Users praise Smash Stats Tracker for mobile-friendly stat tracking, customizable organization (categories, favorites), and per-fighter matchups to guide improvement. It’s valued for tracking progress and helping identify mains based on wins and losses. Common requests include adding missing DLC fighters (Hero, Banjo), improving data portability with backups and CSV exports, and smoothing UI/readability in dark mode. Some users note category management quirks. Overall, the app is useful for on-the-go analytics, with growth prioritized around roster completeness, data backup, and advanced analytics features.
Pros
  • Mobile-friendly stat tracking: keeps win rates and per-fighter data accessible on your phone.
  • Flexible customization and organization: categories, favorites, and the ability to rename/sort fighters or categories.
  • Per-fighter matchups and history to guide improvement (recording wins/losses against specific fighters).
  • Helps you track progress and identify your main characters based on data (wins/losses to inform mains).
  • UI/readability improvements and overall usability on iOS (dark mode fixes).
Cons
  • Missing or poorly-supported DLC fighters (e.g., Hero, Banjo) and issues with DLC handling across rosters.
  • Data backup/restore is missing; stats saved locally and risk loss if device fails.
  • No export option (CSV) for advanced analytics.
  • Dark mode readability issues persist in some views (text color on dark backgrounds).
  • Category management can be awkward or non-intuitive at times (deleting/organizing categories).

Maybe add best player or worst matchup or something

Used to use this app religiously back in smash4. Now that I’m preparing to play Rivals 2 when it releases, I’m thinking how great it would be to have a similar app for that game. If you do end up making it, it might be smart to be able to optionally section off / filter stats by the patch they were played on. This way I can record everything, but in 5 years when the game is very different I won’t have day 1 stats interfering with the data (unless I want them to). Anyway thank you for the great app!
