I’ve used Zmodo for many years with good results, and have recommended to many for affordable security. But the recent release of the app starts with far too many ads to finally get the app to open. So, I’m reaching the boiling point to get the basic service, may need to look for options … if not fixed

This app forces me to watch the ads every time I access the cameras. I’ve been patient enough by watching the ads. But recently it becomes inaccessible since it is stuck in a blue screen after I watched the ads. No matter what I do, it only shows me ads, or this blue screen! I will let everyone know about this terrible service!

I submitted a review when they implemented ads and have been in ongoing communications with customer service about the impact the ads are having. They have pretended to care about the user experience and said they will flag ads that don’t have the skip functionality — but now it’s ALL OF THEM. 99% of the time I leave the app and don’t even bother checking on whatever noise I heard outside. Some security. This app used to be good. I have used these cameras for years and now it makes me want to replace them and delete this app.
