So I got this app just to merely know how many eggs my hens are laying. I wanted something simple compared to the other Poultry apps. This one by far is my favorite hands down! But as I have moved around within the app I found that u can do so much more like track how much feed they are getting. U can even write down each one of ur chickens as well as add a photo of them to it. All kinds of things are available!

It will cost you $4.99 to get the accounting part of the app. It works for what I need it for. I have only had it a day and there are only a few things I see that could improve the app. 1) count up the chickens for me. After putting in all my birds it would be nice to be able to see how many I have at a glance and not have to count what I have added. 2) in the accounting it would be nice to see a breakdown of how much it cost to care for each bird. It shows the break down of cost and feed per dozen but it would be nice to see the same for each bird without having to do the math. 3) maybe a way to break down expenses farther like how much is spent on feed, supplements, cartons/supplies to sell the eggs, ect. 4) have a way to break down income. For example being able to track how many eggs each of my customers purchase from me each time. As I said in the beginning it’s not a bad app for the price and if you don’t need a lot of detailed information it really is good and is easy to use.

I had FlockPlenty once before, and I had over two dozen chickens on my app. Due to a glitch and an error in the app, I lost all of my information, including a couple of years of history with my birds. I became quite frustrated and deleted the app because what’s the point if it’s not gonna keep track. This is my second time trying, with all new birds, and I am hoping that, nothing happens to the data that I collect. I will give you a higher rating, so long as it doesn’t happen again. I’m not sure what’s up with the app this time around but it won’t open. I have downloaded it and deleted and downloaded again and deleted it again and downloaded and it still won’t open for me so I’m guessing that the glitches are still in there. I give up.
