Devices can also be added by MAC address, or using the built-in QR Code scanner

To view a live demo:

Install the VITEK Transcendent Viewer App.
Once installed, open the VITEK Transcendent Viewer App and click on 3 lines on top Left. Go to Server List. Top Right click on Circle with plus sign and enter the following information:

Transcendent NVR Demo:
1st line: 76.81.140.235:8028 2nd: Any name to identify device 3rd line is user name: demo 4th line is Password: 1234

Either select save or Preview. Preview to connect.Save to save to list.

Additionally, you can also add the following DVR demo, if you would like to view both demos individually or simultaneously.

Transcendent DVR Demo: 1st line: 76.81.140.235:8018 2nd: Any name to identify device 3rd line is user name: demo 4th line is Password: 1234

** The ID is case sensitive and is all lower case.

Pros: fast live video, strong remote admin, feature-rich with professional praise and some update-driven reliability gains. Cons: recurring stability and login issues, config loss requiring reconfiguration, video quality problems caused by updates (auto low-res/ blur), and ongoing UI/compatibility problems on newer iPhones. Overall, the app is powerful when it works but reliability and platform/UX issues appear across multiple reviews, dampening consistency for many users.

I have used several apps over the years and Transcendent is by far the best solution I’ve ever seen. There are a ton of features! Basic functionality is intuitive. Advanced features may take a while to learn just because there’s so much available. On top of what you would expect, mainly viewing and recording video, you also have the ability to control a significant portion of the NVR settings through this app. There are some things that still have to be done through the NVR itself, but I think that’s how it should be as well. There have been times when the app needed updates, but calling Vitek Tech Support they have always had an answer, or work around, or have gotten back to me in short order with Solutions they’re small enough company that you can almost always get a hold of somebody quickly

I've probably reviewed this app three times and every time it somehow manages to be worse than the last time. The issue these days? It refuses to accept my (correct) login information. Vitek is a scam company that exists exclusively by bribing local installers to use their garbage over better options.

This app actually works really well and has for over a year for me. As of recently, it continues to crash. I’m having to open it up for five times every time I go to use it due to it crashing. It is an amazing quality app, I just wish it was running better.
