User Reviews

Across reviews, Confluence Cloud on iOS/iPad is criticized for stability and editing issues, with many users unable to save, edit, or navigate pages. iPad instability, crashes, and being stuck during edits are repeatedly reported. The UI is described as confusing, with the Recents view dominating and weak navigation to spaces. Feature parity with the web is lacking (calendar viewing, task lists) and performance can be slow. Some reviewers mention data-deletion concerns and limited support access. A few users report acceptable performance on iPhone, but overall sentiment is negative.
Pros
Cons
  • iPad/iOS instability with frequent crashes and freezes, especially during editing.
  • editing flow is broken: cannot leave or save a page; you can’t delete pages once editing begins.
  • confusing UI/UX with a dominating Recents view and hard navigation to spaces; inconsistent behavior across devices.
  • missing core features and parity with the web (calendars, task lists) and slow performance when opening/editing files.
  • data safety concerns and limited support access, including notices of data deletion and login-only support
Recent reviews
Confluence is years old and may have started with purpose, but now just serves as a swamp of words with little meaning. For example, they allow me to see ‘recent’ documents, but don’t show the date. The newest could be from the 70’s, but they don’t want you to know. The search feature doesn’t let you pick a time range. A coworker could write a doc on how to do something, but your results would never show it unless you can guess the exact title. I think it sorts by the most viewed which could have been 10-100 years ago. Retrieving anything from Confluence seems to be a waste of resources.

Will not allow me to save any documents off of the platform. Will not allow me to pay for a subscription .

Why would there not be a way to see your assigned tasks or action items on the mobile app? That’s an oversight that makes absolutely no sense.
