Users like the competitive, social angle and engaging design, but Outwalk suffers from data-accuracy and reliability problems. Step counts often disappear or miscount, especially when syncing with Apple Health/Watch. Updates can break features like widgets, and crashes or network errors are common. Intrusive pop-ups and privacy concerns around unfamiliar friend requests also harm the experience. Social features such as finding, inviting, and viewing friends' progress are frequently unreliable. Until core data syncing and stability are fixed, the app remains a mixed experience despite its appealing concept.

It’s great to be able to compete, and it’s very frustrating to suddenly loose 10,000 (!) steps every now and then.

App has cool features but one major flaw and a concern. Flaw: add pops up and you can’t close it out cause the X is tucked up high in the corner. You can’t tap close it. That makes this app useless. Concern: getting friends requests from strange people aren’t using the app for it’s intended purpose, if you catch my drift. 2 stars and will likely delete.
