User Reviews

Human Resource Machine offers clever, puzzle-based coding challenges with strong visuals and a rewarding sense of problem-solving. However, users repeatedly note practical drawbacks such as lack of cloud save, a tough learning curve without sufficient guidance, audio issues, limited content/updates, and orientation glitches on mobile.
Pros
  • Engaging, challenging puzzles that exercise logic and basic coding concepts.
  • Strong visuals with smooth, polished gameplay.
  • Appeals to coders and fosters procedural thinking.
  • Fun, brain-teasing experience that provides a satisfying sense of progress.
Cons
  • No cross-device save or cloud sync; progress is not easily transferable when upgrading devices.
  • Steep learning curve with little in-game guidance; learning programming concepts is hard without external resources.
  • Audio problems on iOS (some users report no sound or sound that only works with wired headphones).
  • Limited content (few levels) and sparse updates, making the game feel stale for some players.
  • Orientation/rotation issues on mobile; the screen rotates despite lock in certain scenarios.

I really enjoyed this game when it first came out. It looks like it hasn’t been updated in a few years, hopefully the developer hasn’t given up on this game.

I love this game! Played it a lot when I was younger. However, I had it in my macbook all fine but now coming back years later it is asking me that I need to pay $15 on the mac appstore. I thought I had owned it previously? Why do I need to pay again?
