Recent reviews

For the past 1-2 months, I’ve gone from using fishbowl daily to only checking it once or twice a month. Why, you ask? Because for some unknown reason, the developers decided to change the “My Feed” sorting algorithm to only show the most popular posts from my bowls within around a month, meaning that every time I open the app I see the same 4-5 posts over and over again even when they’re 2 weeks old. I’ve even gotten notifications of “trending new posts” that turn out to be the same week old posts I’ve seen a dozen times already. Basically the only way for me to see new content is to go into my individual bowls but even then I have to sort through the flood of basic/low engagement posts to try and find the ones with thoughtful or interesting discourse. Great way to make me use your app less.

This app constantly has server issues so you can’t update your industry. Can’t update your email or can’t update your description either you can try to update it 4, 5+ or more times it just won’t stick the app and their servers don’t work.

Been closed out twice for comments that were not offensive or out of bounds at all. Seems arbitrary. Bit lame. Only use for job search stuff now and barely contribute original posts bc of the grandmas reporting comments for no reason.
