User Reviews

Overall, Glow Eve started as a simple, data-rich period tracker with useful reminders, but recent changes have frustrated users with ads, paywalls, and a bloated interface. Recurrent issues include data loss after updates and privacy concerns, prompting many long-time users to consider switching to other apps. The core positives—ease of tracking, long history, and reminders—are now outweighed by reliability and usability concerns.

Pros

Historically easy-to-use, calendar-based period tracking that made logging simple.
Long-term data/history with years of cycle records stored in the app.
Reminders/notifications before the period (a valued feature for some users).
Past design was cute and simple, offering a pleasant initial user experience.

Cons

Constant ads and pop-ups, with aggressive upsell to premium.
Paywall and premium pricing, with many features locked behind a subscription.
UI/UX degradation after updates, resulting in a cluttered, hard-to-navigate interface.
Data loss and repeated login prompts, with years of tracking data sometimes disappearing.
Privacy concerns about data collection and potential sharing for studies.
