Barakah: Qur'an, Sholat & Doa

Barakah is an Islamic app to accompany your daily prayers—reading the Quran, listening to murottal (recitations), viewing prayer times, determining the direction of the Qibla, and reciting collections of prayers and dhikr (remembrances). It's lightweight, ad-free, and most features work offline.

FEATURES

• 30 Juz (Juz) of the Quran, 114 Surahs
Arabic text, Latin transliteration, and Indonesian translation. Search for surahs by Latin, Arabic, or meaning.

• Surah Translation
The translation of each surah can be accessed from the detail page.

• Audio Murottal
Read verses individually or in full surahs from a single murottal reciter bundled within the app (no need to stream each time).

• Bookmark Verses & Last Read
Save your favorite verses and automatically resume reading from where you left off.

• Share Verses
Generate a 9:16 story image ready to share on Instagram Stories, WhatsApp Status, or Facebook Stories.

• Prayer Times (Ministry of Religious Affairs Method)
The five prayer times (Fajr, Dzuhur, Asr, Maghrib, Isha) are calculated using the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs method using GPS or manual city selection. Data source: AlAdhan API.

• Adhan Notification
Timely reminders for each prayer, with two voice options.

• Prayer Schedule Widget
A widget on your phone's home screen that displays the five prayer times for the day, the next prayer, and an automatic countdown.

• Qibla Direction
A Qibla compass based on the device's magnetometer. A navigation mode is available for users without a magnetometer, and a link to the Kaaba via Google Maps.

• Daily Prayers & Dhikr
A collection of prayers & dhikr from the Hisnul Muslim book — including morning and evening dhikr, daily prayers (for eating, sleeping, etc.), and dhikr after prayer. Includes Arabic text, Latin transliteration, and Indonesian translation.

• Dark Mode
Light and dark themes for comfortable reading day or night.

• Scribble Mode
For Quran teachers or lecturers, this mode allows drawing instructions directly over the text to help explain tajweed or meaning.

PRIVACY

• No accounts, no logins.
• No ads, no third-party tracking SDKs.
• Bookmarks, history, and settings are stored only on the device.
• GPS location is only used to calculate prayer times and Qibla direction. Coordinates are sent to the AlAdhan API without user identification, and not to our servers.
