Strava Heatmap

By: julcnx Add-on
This browser extension seamlessly integrates the Strava Global Heatmap into popular mapping editors, including the OpenStreetMap iD editor and GPX Studio, enhancing your mapping and route analysis capabilities.

Features & Capabilities

Strava Heatmap integrates Strava’s Global Heatmap into the OpenStreetMap iD editor and GPX Studio, helping you analyze routes and improve mapping workflows. View heatmap overlays by activity type, customize colors, reorder layers, and remove overlays as needed.

A free Strava account is required for authentication. In OpenStreetMap iD, use the Background settings to select a Strava overlay, then use the extension icon to log in and configure layers. Keyboard shortcuts let you toggle the heatmap and data visibility. GPX Studio users can enable and manage overlays directly from the layers menu.
