| 2025-01-07 |  | | en | This does a decent job for a dark mode of google docs, but inverts images and the doc itself inside of google docs. 1.) The first issue is that, although it changes the upper and side panels to dark mode, it also changes the doc itself. Other users who do not have the extension MAY see a doc with color choices you have made to compensate for dark mode. I can change the colors of the doc myself and there is no need to change all of the color choices I have already made. 2.) The second issue is that, enabling the extension requires re-opening the docs tab that you want the dark mode applied to for the colors and font to update properly, which is not such a big deal but still inconvenient. 3.) Removing the extension when it is enabled doesn't reset colors. Now I have to re-add the extension, disable it, then remove the extension again, and then go through and redo all my color choices to font. :( For this to be an official extension by google, I'd hope for an integration and user experience unlike any other dark mode extension. This extension would be great if it did not modify the doc. Google docs has plenty of options for us to do that ourselves. |
