Hypothesify is a Firefox extension designed to integrate seamlessly with the Hypothes.is annotation tool, allowing users to annotate webpages and PDF documents privately or publicly. It is the first Firefox extension for Hypothes.is, providing unique features such as displaying the number of public annotations for any website before opening it in Hypothes.is.

The extension facilitates easy opening and closing of pages within Hypothes.is and generates multiple sharing codes including simple links, HTML markup, Markdown, iframe embeds, and hiccup iframe code for integration with Roam Research. Hypothesify uses Hypothes.is's public API and proxy service to fetch annotation data securely. It respects user privacy by not collecting personal data, though users should note that URLs checked for public annotations are transmitted to Hypothes.is servers.
