La Piccola Napoli is not just a pizzeria, but a piece of Naples in the heart of Újpest. Our goal is to deliver with each pizza the experience that authentic Italian flavors, premium ingredients and passionate hospitality mean.

Our story took a special turn even before opening. During the last test bakes, we didn’t have the heart to throw away the almost perfect pizzas, so we decided to share them with the passers-by of Újpest. An enthusiastic guest later shared his experience on social media, and thanks to this, a long line was waiting for the first pizzas on the opening day. This trust and enthusiasm has inspired us every day since then.

The philosophy of La Piccola Napoli is simple: to make simply good food from excellent ingredients.

The basis of our pizzas is the canotto-style dough made with biga, which is aged for at least 48, but often 72 hours. Thanks to this, the pizza is crispy on the outside and light and airy on the inside, exactly as it is made in Naples.

All our pizzas are made with genuine Italian ingredients. The San Marzano DOP tomatoes come from the Vesuvius region, the fior di latte, burrata and buffalo mozzarella come from Italian dairy farmers, while the premium hams, salamis and special toppings come from carefully selected suppliers.

For us, quality is not a matter of compromise. If an ingredient does not meet the standards we expect, we will temporarily remove the pizza from the menu rather than replace it with a lower quality one.

For us, pizza is a creation. Every detail counts, from the preparation of the dough to the last topping. As a result, one of our special pizzas, the recipe with smoked duck breast and porcini mushrooms, was among the best in the Parma pizza competition in 2023, beating out the creations of hundreds of Italian pizzerias.

The story of La Piccola Napoli was born from childhood memories and a passion for Italian gastronomy. The experience of the first oven-baked pizza, the atmosphere of Italian restaurants by the sea and the love of simple yet perfect ingredients inspired the place that our guests can now call home.

After years of hospitality experience, our own restaurants and a lot of learning, La Piccola Napoli was born. A family business where every pizza is made with the same attention as if we were baking for our own loved ones.
