The application aims to provide parents and professionals in the social, health and public education sectors (early childhood carers, pre-school teachers, paediatricians, nurses, family care and child welfare services) with relevant information on early childhood intervention.

The application presents the age characteristics of children aged 0-6 years, describes the signs of typical and different development (physical, mental, mental, personality development); and provides advice and guidance on difficulties and uncertainties from birth to school.
The "Cross-sectoral development of early childhood intervention" project launched in the spring of 2017 within the framework of the Széchenyi 2020 program implements more efficient, better-tailored, higher-quality care for pre-school children with different, delayed development and their families.

The primary goal of the project is to create a unified children's path in which the cooperation of professionals dealing with early childhood intervention in different fields and the routes of referral are precisely regulated. In connection with the development of the children's path, uniform screening, measurement, examination procedures, as well as guidelines and protocols will be introduced in order to identify children with different, delayed development at the earliest possible age, to identify the problem and to make an accurate diagnosis.

The project aims to increase the knowledge of professionals dealing with pre-school children, through which they will learn about the care system, the tasks and competencies of the actors in the community, how they work together, the communication between them and with their parents.

Expanding the knowledge of parents about their child's development, the care system and the ways of referral increases the parents' sense of competence and self-esteem, but at the same time reduces their isolation - especially those living in social disadvantages.
