Protect your ears!

By means of this app you can measure the loudness of various events, and additionally - based on the recommendations of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Interdepartmental Standing Committee on Acoustics - the app will give you a recommendation how long your children of different ages should attend the event.

A the end of a measurement, the application asks you a few questions about the venue, and the sound system and asks you to send the answers to the questions and the measurement results to our servers.

We are trying to reach out prospective users who come to BME's Laboratory of Acoustics and Studio Technology to calibrate their device and then go to concerts and other loud events and take measurements. By providing us with some information about the measurements and sending it to our servers, you can contribute to the creation of a database of hearing-friendly events and venues.
