User Reviews

Reviews strongly praise RadioU’s music and the ability to listen to its stations and programs anywhere. The main recurring problem is unreliable playback: streams stop or buffer, sometimes across devices and despite a strong signal. Battery drain is another repeated concern. Some users also note missing driving or lock-screen controls and trouble updating the app.

Pros

Listeners repeatedly praise RadioU’s music, DJs, and distinctive Christian programming.
The app provides access to RadioU beyond local broadcast, with multiple channels, shows, and podcasts.
Reviewers appreciate useful features such as throwback playlists and headphone controls.

Cons

Playback frequently stops, buffers, or disconnects, often requiring users to reopen the app; this is the most common complaint.
Several reviewers report excessive battery drain, including when the app is in the background.
Some reviewers want better playback controls and Android Auto support.
More than one reviewer says the app cannot be updated through the Play Store.

Favorite Station, Online player has issues.. Battery optimization is turned off for it, but it still will randomly stop for like 5 seconds to buffer. I don't have buffering issues with any other streaming service. Love the station, but it's not local. Hoping this gets resolved!

new features are nice, but I can't get it to play consistently. I might get a few minutes out of it or it may not play at all. I've uninstalled, cleared cache, etc. I'd love to listen if it worked!
