i've been reading the other reviews because some of them are funny as hell, but what people are trying to convey isn't too far off from the truth. i feel like this extension has the capability to do way more than it's intended to do. it can track every single thing you do on your computer. sure, it may be a chrome extension, but it runs through files and data on your computer, no matter how "safe" you make them. some bad ratings are only here because these kids are mad at how their teachers are using lanschool. however, this program is incredibly dangerous to your privacy. so by the slim chance any school district is reading this review, are you really this concerned about what every single person is doing 24/7? |

Schools should also be providing more information about the software and its capabilities to students and parents. I personally have made a windows script to disable LANSchool and its monitor, but it is not enough. This extension or app jst sucks, it is jst a stalker that school uses to know our passowords, it is literally the violation of privacy, this is a LITERAL common law across the globe! this extension is $h!t. all my personal information is accessed by my school district as well as my personal account passwords and etc. it doesn't allow many websites, including ones that are educational. you can't uninstall or even download other chrome extensions. everything on your computer is going to be tracked. that also includes if you charge your phone from your computer... all of your phone data will be TRANSFERRED INTO THE ADMIN'S DOCUMENTS. |
