en LanSchool is a classroom management software designed to allow educators to monitor and control students' devices during lessons. While it might seem useful on the surface, there are several reasons why this software can be considered stupid and pointless in practice. First, LanSchool often leads to a false sense of security for teachers who believe it will help maintain order in the classroom. However, students are often quick to find ways around the restrictions, rendering the software ineffective. Rather than creating an environment of trust and responsibility, it encourages students to become more tech-savvy at circumventing authority. Second, LanSchool can be a major source of distraction in itself. By monitoring every action on a student's device, the software not only creates unnecessary stress and anxiety but also disrupts the flow of lessons. Teachers spend valuable time checking up on each student's screen instead of focusing on teaching. This can be detrimental to the learning process, as it reduces the amount of time available for meaningful instruction and student engagement. Moreover, LanSchool undermines the development of critical thinking and self-discipline in students. Instead of teaching students how to responsibly manage their own time and focus, the software enforces a rigid, authoritarian approach to classroom management. In doing so, it deprives students of the opportunity to learn essential life skills like time management, responsibility, and problem-solving. These skills are much more important for long-term success than the ability to avoid detection by surveillance software. Additionally, LanSchool often proves to be invasive and overly controlling. Students, especially older ones, may feel that their privacy is being violated, which can create a toxic classroom environment. Instead of fostering open communication and trust between educators and students, it cultivates resentment. If teachers are continuously monitoring students' every click, it sends the message that they do not trust their students, which can damage the teacher-student relationship and undermine the classroom culture. Finally, the functionality of LanSchool is often overly simplistic and fails to meet the nuanced needs of modern classrooms. The software is designed to monitor, block, and control, but it does not address the underlying issue of why students are distracted in the first place. It also often lacks the flexibility necessary to adapt to diverse teaching methods and learning environments. Instead of relying on technology to micromanage students, educators should focus on creating engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking, and building a classroom culture based on respect and responsibility. LanSchool simply distracts from these more effective educational approaches, making it ultimately pointless.

en Not only is this extension annoying, maybe illegal, and not helpful in the slightest, It also straight up does not work. many people already found their way around it, just to get to stuff that us school related anyway. This extension could have been used for a different purpose. Do better, Lanschool.

en LanSchool is an invasion of privacy that I, and many others need and LanSchool removes that making me not feel safe in school, especially considering that this extension isn't even rated 2 stars (at the time of writing), and the fact that you can control your student's laptops whenever you want is even more creepy, this extension is also considered spyware.
