Blockr

A simple, lightweight post blocking solution for Tumblr

Blockr is a post blocker for the popular blogging site Tumblr. This extension adds a small button to each post which blocks the post from your dashboard. Posts are blocked based on their root post ID so the post will be hidden no matter who reblogs it.

The block button is located at the top right of each post so users can block offensive or unwanted content without having to scroll through the entirety of a post.

User reviews

Just what I was looking for. An "x" button option on every post to block a particular post on my tumblr dashboard that I didn't like, without having to blacklist a word from my entire dashboard through Tumblr Savior. And it blocks any reblogs of the post you "x" ed out. Once you "x" something, there's no trace of it, so if you change your mind; it's too late as far as I know. Thanks!

Extension safety

Risk impact
Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Blockr requires a few sensitive permissions. Exercise caution before installing.
