It works with the main chat only. It will not work with the sidebar chat. So, use the main page only to save the chats and there's also a Bing desktop app and it will use the main chat so those save. I haven't reached a limit yet, I'm still waiting to find out, oh and it doesn't save the created images, or hyperlinks, only the text.
