History Helper

Excellent history search extension This is a really useful extension and easily better than the default browser history tool. The biggest advantage is that it can search quickly across all dates without having to manually click through month after month, which I found frustrating with other tools such as Better History. I also really like that it shows multiple visit counts and lets you inspect repeat visits to the same page. That makes it much more useful when trying to work out not just whether I visited something, but how often and when. The filtering options are strong without feeling bloated, and once you understand the search rows and date options, it is very practical. A simple, fast, well-thought-out tool that solves a real browser history annoyance. Five stars.

Thank you J.C. Fields for the extension allowing us to search our FF history. I was deeply troubled by FF broken way of searching within history and have to frequently export and import to Chrome's History Trend Unlimited to review my past web activities. J.C. changed that and thank you! Potential bug report: search does not render history matching the end date in the date range. EX: using 1/1/2025~1/1/2025 for specific date range will return nothing for the search and 1/1/2025~1/2/2025 will only return 1/1/2025's history.
