User Reviews

Historia cleans Firefox history by auto-deleting entries based on age, keywords, or domain, and by removing cruft like redirects. Users praise its set-and-forget cleanup and reliable desktop performance, with a clear desire for cross-platform support (Chrome/Android). Some note potential slowdowns or inconsistency when purging very large histories, but core functionality remains the main strength.
Pros
  • Auto-deletes history by age, keywords, or domain (configurable cleanup).
  • Effectively removes cruft from history, such as garbage URLs and redirects.
  • Set-and-forget automation for history maintenance.
  • Works well on desktop; generally reliable.
  • Keeps useful history while purging the rest for a cleaner, more manageable history.
Cons
  • Cross-platform availability is limited: Chrome export and Android port are not available currently (requests from users).
