User Reviews

Most reviews describe the Firefox add-on as unreliable and very limited in the free version. Reported issues include not actually connecting despite showing as connected, recurring bugs with server options, and disappearing or inaccessible server lists. Users also complain about registration and ads, with some noting Russia-specific access problems and potential IP leaks. Overall, the free plugin is viewed as brittle and not a dependable privacy tool.
Pros
Cons
  • Cannot reliably connect: many reviews report being told 'Connected' but no actual access; a recurring bug shows only the Automatic server option with no connection.
  • Very limited free version: few servers, no control over location, and some locations blocked unless upgrading.
  • Server list is unstable: servers frequently disappear or become unavailable and may require restarting the extension or browser to restore.
  • Registration required and intrusive ads: some reviews mention mandatory registration; others complain about ads added to the Firefox home/start page.
  • Privacy concerns: at least one review reports IP leaks via WebRTC or unreliable privacy protections.

Scam. Only countries that are available are EU and US. You are told to download their app for full access but that is a straight lie. You still can't choose any country with the "free plan".
